Hello there my friend,
You have a good profile and plenty of good stuff, but your school list is a bit unrealistic. You come from a really really tough application pool (Indian Tech Male) and the schools you listed tend to turn down similar profiles as your but who went to IIT and have a 720+ GMAT. So I would suggest moving your school list from Top 10 to schools ranked 20-40 (very approximately). If you want a full on profile eval, I need more info from you dude! Like about what you do, how much leadership you have, what your main achievements are, and so on...

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Hi Jon

Thanks for your kind reply.

As asked, here's the full profile :-
Current Role : Senior Engineer in Nokia Solutions and Networks (NSN), handling managed services operations for a leading telecom services provider in India.
Lead the team for network launch of this telecom operator
Responsible for providing onsite consultation to client for tech business and network concerns (Technical analyst kind of role).
Got SPOT Award for performance.
Lead Mobile Number Portability Launch for the same client with minimal support.
My client recently expressed desire to hire me.

Prior to NSN : Senior Specialist - Networks in HCL , helped this software company establish foothold in telecom services business.
Was one of the first few members to join this startup account.
Youngest member to visit Client at its Belgium office to take handover from its previous vendor.
Handled offshore transfer of tech operations.

Prior to HCL : Engineer in Spice Communications, a telecom services provider. Handling Core network operations.
Attending meetings with Marketing and VAS developers to discuss logic and implementation strategy.
Value Added Services products and mobility services implementation.
Nurturing fresh talent through trainings and on job knowledge sharing.
Handling technical node upgrades, adopting diligence practices.
Successfully transitioned network from single vendor to multi vendor equipment environment.
Got Letter of Appreciation from HR Head.
Presented Brand Promotion Idea to the management of Spice Communications, though it was not accepted.

Hope, I did not make it too much boring... :) ..but I needed your best advice on profile.

Also, Please suggest which schools should I apply to in US and Canada....

:)

Weeeeeeeeeeeeelllllll, it's not a matter of "boring" but maybe it is a wee bit technical... which is maybe a good time to bring up a point - Being a techie (especially an Indian techie) puts you at a bit of a disadvantage, so before you actually write about what you did, it's good if you can CONCEIVE of yourself in non-tech terms... so rather than writing about "technical node upgrades" and the like (totally irrelevant to the MBA by the way" the "nurtiting fresh talent" the "Team playing" and so on are really the more important parts.

If you can do that, then you will boost your work experience and how it is perceived.

So otherwise, from what I can see here things look pretty good, and really the next step is to settle on some sort of schools (or at least the criteria for choosing those schools). My suggestion would be to look in the schools ranked 20-50 in the US, and to pick the ones that fit your needs and character, and then work from there.
