I am a 23 year old male and will be graduating this year from Liberty University. Im not sure what their tier would be, but i figure that won't help much

GPA:4.0

GMAT: 700 (will be taking again so i am hoping for higher)

Work Experience: I have been a Realtor for almost 3 years
More Work experience: I have managed my own (family) business for 5 years. I have been the sole employee, so i run all aspects of the business. We are a retail store with 30k square feet of antiques.

My goal: I would like to be an investment specialist such as an investment banker for a top bank

Extra-curricular: I cant say that i have much here. I have some community service but it is negligible. I may be able to consider the Realtor job as an extracurricular and say that my full time management of my store is my work experience but i am not sure if that would help.

MY BIGGEST WORRY: As a freshman undergrad (at 18) i was dismissed from my original college for a drunken mistake. However, since then i went on to get the 4.0 and have had no other problems since. But i feel like that will really hurt my chances of getting accepted.

Hi abscicli14,

Thank you for your post and for sharing your profile. I like your profile, but I would like to have a better understanding of your background and career aspirations. You are a realtor and business owner and want to move into investment banking. A career change is not atypical, it just requires explanation so I can better understand. When are you planning to apply for the MBA (assuming that's what you are targetting)? I would also like to better understand the dismissal.

Reach out to coordinate a free consultation where we can talk about these matters and where you go from here. If interested, click here to coordinate a call.

Good luck!
