Hi guys,
Thanks to anyone who takes a look and chimes in.

1) Basic demographic info: 24, female, US citizen
2) Educational Background: Political Science, 3.85 at a good liberal arts college, 720 (77% Quant, 95% Verbal)
3) Work experience: 2 years to date, 3 years at matriculation - 6 months in finance (then finance blew up...), 1.5 years in HR consulting. Do not expect promotions before school (there are several people here longer than I have and no promotions for them). No international experience, although have traveled internationally and have spent childhood in another country.
4) Extracurriculars: 1 main one - been doing marketing for alumni association since Fall 2008. Also mentor a middle-school child, but that's not super involved.
5) Short/Long term goals: Transition into brand management / marketing - have an interest in doing a stint at a traditional CPG (where marketing is the driver and not just a cost center) but also learning more about online and product marketing. Basically, I want to get out of consulting because I don't want to be an "adviser", I want to have operational experience and really drive the business. Also, I want a job where I can have some semblance of control over my schedule and time, and I don't see that in consulting.
Geographic preferences for CA (Nestle, Neutrogena, etc.) Eventually want to work abroad for a couple of years either in China or Latin America.
Why MBA: mainly, to career transition. I know I'm a young applicant, but an MBA is the right step for me right now - professionally and personally (by the time I graduate I'll be 27, then I can work for a couple more years and maybe start thinking about having a child). Of course, I won't put this "life reason" in the essays.
6) Schools: Kellogg (super-stretch), Duke, UCLA, Darden (sweet-spot/stretch), McCombs, USC, Kelley (likely? also hoping for some money).
How does my school list look? I might take away 1 or 2 (trying to apply to 6 in all), but that's my basic list. Are there schools I should look closer at?
Also, overall I just feel like I'm very... unexceptional. There's nothing that should keep me OUT, but nothing that screams take her IN either. I guess the essays are where I'll have to sparkle like a vampire.
Thanks everyone!
