Hi Europe2011,
There are a number of factors that will play a role in an admissions teams' decision. Your GPA, GMAT score, work experience, letters of recommendation, and personal essays will all be important.
In your 3 years of work experience, have you shown a history of progression? Do you have experience leading and managing others?
For your GMAT score, how long have you been studying for the test? Your score would be lower than the average for NYU and Columbia.
Lastly, have you considered the few messages you would like an admissions team to take away from your application, messages you could reinforce with your personal essays and letters of recommendation?
I hope to hear from you.
Best Regards,
Conrad and the
