Hi there!
Could you please provide me with an evaluation of my profile. I am applying to a 1-year MBA program at Cornell and Kellogg and need to assess my chances to get admitted.
Italian national, born in 1979 (32 years old).
Undergraduate: Economics, GPA 3.9
Postgraduate: Master in financial mathematics, GPA 3.6
Work experience: 4 years in investment banking (bulge bracket American bank) plus 3 years in real estate private equity. Good career progression, from analyst to vice president with increased responsibility. Worked in London, Rome and now Milan.
GMAT: 680, 85% (V39, 87% / M 44, 66%), AWA 5.0
Extracurricular: a bit of volunteering and hobbies/sport, but nothing amazing.
My main disappointed is on the math section of my GMAT, hopefully is offset by my quantitative background both at school and at work.
Would like to know what chances I have to get either at Kellogg (first choice) or Cornell.
Many thanks!
