I would appreciate a profile evaluation. I am having hardtime assessing my chances and determining the schools that I can get in.
Ethinicity : Male Indian 28
Occupation : Software Programmer, 5.5 yrs exp . an individual contributor responsible for development of in-house enterprise reporting tool used by 30K users in a reputed tech company. can obtain letter of recommendation from my director of organisation.
Education : MS in CSE from top 30 university in USA 3.33 GPA
B.Tech (Information Technology) in India 75% from a non-descriptive univ.
Extra Curricular activities: nothing worth mentioning. regularly participated and organised local IT student chapter.
GMAT : 720 (Q 46 71%, V42 96%). (very unusual for an indian candidate to have good verbal score and bad quant score but I am hoping that my engg background will show that quant score is an aberration)
my aim is to do MBA in finance and my target schools are
1. Columbia (Dream)
2. Stern (Dream)
3. Booth (Dream)
4. LBS (Dream)
5. ISB (Reach, I think)
6. McCombs (Reach, I think)
as you can see my choice of schools are way too high in terms of ranking/quality but I really want to get into these schools. my other option is to do MS in Financial Engg (yet to give my GRE) in these schools. My end target is to end up in investment firm either as a portfolio manager or an analyst.
I would appreciate your feedback very much.

I'm glad to write that I think you are perhaps underestimating yourself a wee bit... Your school choice overall is a tough on, and I wish there was a few more "competitive schools" for you.. but I feel that with what you have written Stern would not be a "Dream" school, but rather between reach and competitive. And McCombs you would be competitive, I feel. The one thing that totally doesn't make sense is your goals. Okay, I mean in REALITY it makes sense, but as an application strategy, it's not so hot, because IT to Finance is a very sought after move, except the problem is that Bschools have tons of amazingly strong finance folks who apply, so why would they choose you??? So I'd reconsider presenting that as a goal to the AdCom...
Also, maybe add some of these schools to your list: Anderson, Johnson, UNC, Tepper, Georgia Tech...
