-Analyst in the IT department, specializing in SAP.
-Client-facing, multiple stints at client locations (within India mostly, 1 month in Nigeria)
2. Accenture Services Pvt. Ltd (Jun 2010 - May 2012)
-Started as Associate Software Engineer. Promoted to Software Engineer in a year with the highest internal rating (the top 5 percent) in my peer group
-Worked primarily in software development, heavily involved in client interfacing in order to gather requirements and such. Client was based in UK.
Extra:
Worked in the Chennai chapter of Aisec for a year.
Fitness Enthusiast - marathon runner, Crossfit etc.
Amateur writer of fiction.

I would like to switch from pure technology to a marketing role. I want to use this experience to end up utilizing both my knowledge of technology and marketing as a Product Manager.

I have heard to switch domains, as I wish to do, one needs to do a two year course? Is this true?
Also, as far as my list is concerned, am I over-reaching?
