You are probably right that the Msc is easier to get into than the MiM, because of the prestige of the program. However the difficulty is that it's not really possible to back it up with concrete evidence. The difficulty is that the concrete statistical basis form which we evaluate chances - class size, GMAT, acceptance rate, applicant pool, etc. etc. don't really work between programs. that's why it is simply better for you to choose what you NEED and not where you might have better chances (which anyhow doesn't work that well if you apply to only one school). If you are dead set on getting in to a program, then your best best is to add 3-4 more to your list, to ensure that you get accepted.
