Thanks for the additional info. That helps certainly. But I'd also suggest you think more about your 'why MBA' answers, at least before you work on essays and interviews, as most applicants, especially at the more competitive schools, can answer not just that they want to be academically stimulated etc, but why and HOW the degree will help facilitate both their short and long term career goals. If 2 candidates are both qualified, but candidate A can clearly state how an MBA is required for he/she to learn xyz skills, necessary for abc next career step for the following reasons, all contributing to xyz long term career plan... and candidate B just says they want to get an MBA to learn more and open up opportunities.... candidate A is going to sound more compelling, and like the MBA makes more sense, and likely gain admission over candidate B. So do think through and ideally be able to support why you truly need this degree and exactly how you intend to use it. ;) Good luck!
