Hi!
I am Sahar from India and I gave my GMAT just yesterday and I ended up scoring a 650 ((Q - 42, V 37)
I wish to apply to Nanyang, SMU, NUS and University of Mannheim for 2016 batch.
I wish to pursue - Marketing and Strategy. specifically brand management and Brand marketing strategy.
A little about my Profile/Background :
1. Work ex - 3.5 years as a marketing professional in Software Multinational.Won 3 excellence awards.
2. Graduated as an Engineer with CGPA - 7/10
3. Extra language apart from English and Hindi : German Proficiency level - Fluent, French Proficiency Level - Basic.
4. Set up a school with a friend for kids of rural area - presently 128 students studying, trying to get more girls to study. Apart from this I've been educating rural and backward classes on the importance of hygiene and setting up toilets in every house.
5. I am a state level football player and University level Debater.
What do you think are my chances of getting atleast an interview with any of these schools with the score and my profile?

Hello Sahar from India,
Wellllll, your school list is a biiiiiit challenging, but you can give it a shot. Now, I am saying with I have to admit with very little info about you and detail about your work.
Obviously, a higher GMAT would make things easier for you. And I don't know if this is possible, or if you want to, or how many times you took the GMAT, but if the answer is only once, I'd definitely give it a second thought.
The last thing I should say is that being a male Indian guy from a Software firm, you are not gonna have exactly the rarest profile, so you should try and look for things to "spice it up" and surprise the Adcom a bit, yeah?
