Hi,

Thanks a ton for your reply!!

I am now going to retake GMAT exam in the month of July, but my only concern is if I start application process and short listing the universities in the month of August, will it be late for applying in Round1.

Also, with the score of 640 will it be difficult to get through in MS Finance programme too?

Thanks,
Varun

Varun,
I totally understand your concern. But then you will have two choices: 1. Either compromise on your list or 2. Go for R2 or next year.

In my opinion I think it's always better to only apply with the best score possible. After all, you only do this once, and the school you get into will define the rest of your career.

And things stand the same for MFin also. At 640, you will have to go relatively low on the list, and the competition is quite stiff.

I hope this helps,
Best,
Jon
