Hi,
I request you to provide me guidance on choosing which B-schools to apply for in Round -2.
Brief Background: GMAT 700 (Q 48 V 37)
I am a 26 year old Indian male candidate with 4 years of work experience with PwC and EY in Risk Consulting Services ( purely client facing). I also have Entrepreneurial experience as i worked in my family business ( Retail and wholesale trading) for 1.5 years after graduation. I graduated in 2013 with B.com from Osmania university. (GPA-3.9)
Additionally, i have completed all the levels of CFA program in consecutive attempts.(2016-2018).

I am very determined for 2019 intake and would consider top Bschools across India, Singapore US, UK, Canada. Please suggest schools where the probability of getting an interview call would be high enough.

Thank you!

Hi there,
Thanks for your post. Your profile looks solid, but I would advise schools with an average GMAT in the 650-700 range for best chances of that interview invite. In the US I'd look at roughly schools in the 10-30 or so ranking (US News). UK I would look at Ox/Bridge (though still quite competitive), and Imperial or CASS. You may have a shot at top Canadian schools, maybe NUS, and the top Indian schools may be a touch more competitive for you but worth trying... perhaps reference the Financial Times MBA ranking for a rough global overview of reputation that is referenced in many of these countries. And think about length, location, cost, time out of the workplace, specializations, class sizes... look at Employment Reports for each and Class profiles for each (should all be online) as you compare. For more feedback and discussion feel free to register for one of our free consultations at any point at www.mbamission.com/consult if interested. Good luck!

Hello muditb

Congrats on completion of all levels of CFA.

I will assume then that you pursue Finance specialization on MBA studies.

You have relevant working experience and your GPA is fine.

Also, your GMAT score is in general good one.

For list of best European/UK schools, that you can target based on your GMAT score, check my post here :

https://gmatclub.com/forum/mba-in-europ ... 82899.html

My recommendation would be: LBS, Oxford, Judge, Imperial, Cass.

For list of best Canadian MBA's, check my post here :

https://gmatclub.com/forum/mba-in-canad ... 81966.html

My recommendation would be: Rotman, Ivey, Sauder, Schulich.

I will prepare special post for Asian schools as well, but for now, my targeted recommendation list for you would be :

IIM-A PGPX, IIM-B EPGP (if interested in executive), Nanyang (NTU), National Univ of Singapore (NUS).

Finally for US, you can target schools like :

UNC Kenan-Flagler

Cornell Johnson

Duke Fuqua

Washington Univ. (Olin)

McCombs (Texas-Austin)

Georgetown McDonough

Carnegie Mellon Tepper

Vanderbilt Owen

Foster (Washington)

Notre Dame Mendoza

Boston University

Florida (Hough)

Carlson (Minnesota)

Marshall (Southern California)

Emory Goizueta

Scheller (Georgia Tech)

Rice Jones

Good Luck ! :fingers_crossed:
