hello...i am a bds graduate from india (dentist) 26/F..i want to do mba from good b-school. i have about three years of work experience of which 1.5 yr in a private hospital as a consulting dental surgeon and of 1.5 yrs in a charitable trust hospital. i am planning to take my gmat by oct. what chances do i have at ISB? apart from ISB which other b schools can i apply to in US or ASIA ..according to my profile? thanks a lot in adv

So it sounds like you are fairly new to the process, and have a less common background for b-school, but that does not have to be a disadvantage if you can explain your story and WHY you want and need the MBA and what you will do with it, and also share and illustrate what you'll bring to the class. As far as what schools you may want to apply to, some of that may vary based upon how the GMAT goes! In terms of selectivity and your chances etc. And there are a lot of other factors to consider as you look at school options... class size, employment stats, class profiles, teaching methods, curriculum, geography, length, etc. For more on choosing schools, check out our free download at: https://info.mbamission.com/Selecting-Yo ... ram-E-Book.
