Thanks in advance for the response. I really appreciate it.
Hey dude,
Very good to hear from you!
I think you have a very good profile and if you make great stories and applications you should have a lot of options in front of you. Of course a lot depends upon YOU and your goals: What do you see yourself doing in the long-term? where do you see yourself living? why do you REALLY want an MBA? Do you want to stay in India? Or is the US an option? or Europe? Australia? Canada? Asia???
Answering these questions for yourself (and me) will help a lot.
Whatever the case let me say that the basis of you being an NIT grad and your grades + your work is very solid. A lot will depend on the GMAT but if you get a 720 or above, many doors will be open for you.
The one thing I can say (and this is something you will need to work on) is that you need to work on re-imagining yourself - right now your profile, the way you have posted here is very very tech oriented, and an MBA is much more business and leadership oriented. So to make yourself sound like a good fit it will help for you to rethink your experience in these terms.
But there's plenty of time for that!!!
First things first: Get that GMAT!!!!!!!!!!
Good luck,
I hope this helps,
JF
