Hi Raj - thanks for writing! I think those programs should be within reach as long as you hit your target GMAT score. Many schools are strong for Corp. Strategy - so here are some other things to consider when thinking about schools:
- What type of environment do you want to be in - urban, suburban, rural?
- What is your desired geography post-graduation?
- What type of culture are you looking for (this is best gauged by talking to current students/alumni and visiting school events, and especially the campus)

Hi,
I need advice on the schools that I can apply to. Below is my profile:
Graduation: Computer Engineering(Graduated in 2011) - GPA: 3.6
Work Experience: 5+ years in technology consulting and currently working as Sr. Engineer in an MNC located in India
Extracurricular: College Football team captain, Part of organizing committee of a number of college fests.
Volunteer work: led volunteer activities during college and in my current job
Interest: Corporate Strategy
Target GMAT score: 710
Planning to apply for the MBA Class starting in 2018.
I would like to apply to around 5 business schools in US and Canada:
- Darden
- Fuqua
- UNC Kenan Flagler
- Ivey
- Rotman
I will appreciate if you could let me know my chances at the above schools and suggest any more schools I'm missing as well as anything on my profile I should pay more attention to before applying later this year.
