Here is my background....
Demographics:
- 25 year old Indian Male, 28 at the time of graduation
Work Experience:
- 4 years (at the time of starting the program) in management consulting in India at a Big Four firm with a focus on strategy & operations in financial services
- Key Projects include areas such as large scale transformation at banks, market entry strategy and business process re-engineering
- Currently been working there for 3 years (promoted in 2 years) likely to be promoted again next year if I continue in the firm
- I expect to have pretty stellar recommendations from managers
-Multiple internships across areas such as banking, investment management & private equity prior to working
Education:
-3 year undergraduate degree in business management at a top 10 UK school
-Graduated with a First Class (1:1)
-School: Went to a very well reputed school in India
Scores:
- GMAT- 710 (45 Q, 41 V, 5 IR, 6 AWA)
Extra-Curriculars:
-Captained the University Squash team
-Swimming- School & district level
-National level squash player
-Football- school team for 7 yrs
-Current volunteer at a local NGO teaching English & Maths (1 year by the time I apply)
Post-MBA Goals:
- I would like to join a strategy consulting firm or get into Investment banking / PE. My long term goal is to start by own boutique consulting firm.

Any advice would really be appreciated! Do I need to worry about my GMAT score, especially the low quant score. Is there any way to stand a competitive chance of getting into my top 3 choices with this score?
