Hi. I am Prashant Keshri from India with a total experience of 8 years into IT. I have worked globally across different regions as a Product Developer / Software Support Engineer / Software Sales Engineer. Presently, I am into Analytics working as PreSales lead supporting MNCs & Govt Institutes on the analytics journey. I enjoy my work a lot and get to meet leadership team frequently which has ignited me to pursue MBA and involve directly into Business decisions. I have appeared GMAT with a total score of 700 with a low % in engineering. My interest is for 1 year MBA in the United States. Can you suggest me my options based on the above.

Hi Prashant, thanks for reaching out. That is great you have worked globally and have leadership team exposure. Plus, so many companies are investing in analytics so your experience will be useful. If you have a low GPA, is retaking GMAT an option? I want you to put your best foot forward when you apply, and if you think a higher score is possible, give it a shot!
As for 1 year programs here in the US, you should consider Kellogg (though likely a stretch for you), Emory, USC, Cornell (including Cornell Tech), Notre Dame, and NYU Stern also has a one year tech focused MBA.

Thanks a lot Kate for the suggestion. I believe 700 is the best score I could do at the moment considering to apply this year by R1/R2. I believe strong point about my profile is I have experienced the entire Technology life-cycle from coding to product implementation to support till sales. I have purposefully traversed variant profile to get an understanding about every intricacies about the entire journey. In addition to that I have been closely alined towards the business supporting them with their answers to the mission-critical queries via Anaytics. On top of that, I am working as a Sales Consultant at Tableau which I believe is a very strong brand name in the analytics domain. I want to use all of the above and apply at the best to reap out the bestest possible outcome.
