Hello All,
I would really appreciate if somebody could evaluate my profile:
GMAT : 700
Work Experience: 3 years at the time of application as a Design Engineer in USA
Education: MS Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State and BE Mechanical from Manipal Institute of Technology
GPA: 3.8/4 in MS and 7.5/10 in BE
Dream Schools: ISB, SP Jain, INSEAD, HEC Paris
To summarize my current role, I work in an Architectural Engineering firm as a part of a team which comes up with design solutions for clients. Our clients include Ford, GM, Fiat Chyrsler and many more automative companies and hospitals. It involves a lot of inter-disciplinary coordination and client interaction on a daily basis. I worked on a similar role for 2 years in my previous company which was a Fortune 500 firm with close to 100,000 employees. My current firm has around 1000 employees.
My career goal after graduation is to transition into Consulting role for a Technology, Engineering or Infrastructure company.
I am also involved in volunteering hours for my local community.

Is there any chance at all that you can improve your GMAT score? Assuming you are an Indian male, you are coming from the most overrepresented demographic when it comes to b-school applications & it's one that tends to have very high GMAT scores (740+). At INSEAD for example, the average GMAT tends to be around 710 but as an Indian male you'd ideally want to hit a 730+ to be competitive. A lot will also depend on the details of your work experience. The adcom is looking for applicants who have driven quantifiable impact at work: i.e., increasing revenue, decreasing costs, launching new products, etc. Ideally you'll have some leadership experience both at work & in your extracurriculars. If you are an Indian male, consulting is a very common post-MBA goal for your demographic (#2 right after product manager in a tech firm) so if you do name that as your goal it will be critical to tell a strong story about WHY that is your passion and what exactly you hope to accomplish. If you have ideas for a more unique goal that might leverage your specific background all the better - that could help differentiate you from the crowd.
Based on what you shared here and assuming you're not able to improve your GMAT score, I think the schools you named would be a bit more in the reach category (especially INSEAD). I'd aim for schools like Oxford, Cambridge, and IE. In the US you could aim for schools in the 20-30 range (we use US News & World Report).
