I am planning on applying for MBA program in 2021. I would love to hear feedback on my profile.
Age: 27
Nationality: India
Academic Qualification: B.Tech (Civil Engineering) Low-grade engineering college
GPA: 3.3
GMAT: 740
Work Experience: Total- 5 year 8 month
Work as Design Engineer from June 2014 to Jan 2019 in Indus Consultrans on Design of Infrastructure (Railway & Metro) Projects like “Underground Metro Project in India”
Work as Senior Design Engineer from June 2019 to till now in Nippon Koei India on Design of Infrastructure (Railway & Metro) Projects like “Railway Bridges for Dedicated Freight Corridor in India (500 kM)”
Extra-curricular Activities:
Volunteer Certificate from “Teach for India”. The volunteer is only for one month.
Visit many foreign countries on vacation for exploration. Countries are Maldives, Bhutan & Nepal.
Captain of Football Team at School Level
Member of Stage Control Committee of Fest that held at College level
Achievements (On job):
Employee of the Year 2017 from Indus Consultrans. The award was given by Director of Company

Hi, and thanks for writing! Given your GPA and that admissions is particularly competitive for Indian applicants, I'd see if you could pull up your GMAT (which already is solid) even higher.
Community/extracurricular involvement, especially in a leadership capacity, can really help round out a candidacy. Is it possible for you to get more heavily involved in Teach for India or another such program between now and when you apply?
Regarding your work experience - what matters more than the duration is the progression you've had and the impact you've made. Have you been promoted and/or had significant increases in responsibility and compensation in your career so far? Also, are you confident about being able to secure excellent recommendations?
Right now, I would say HEC, NUS, SDA are good targets, and other programs you've listed likely are a reach. I'd also consider UNC Kenan-Flagler, LBS, Oxford Said, Cambridge Judge, and HKUST.
