Hello all,
Im not really sure where to start or how you do this but I was given a suggestion to do this since I look to apply for MBA in September - October.
Anyway, I am 24 years old from Tel Aviv Israel. I grew up in Israel until I was 16. When I was 16 I moved by myself to the U.S in order to further athletics and education.
I did Junior and Senior year of high school in a prep school, finished with a 3.2GPA. After high school I went to play semi pro ice hockey in order to get recruited for college in a hope to get a scholarship, during that time I did some community service as well. After my second year I ended up getting recruited to a school in Philadelphia. In the summer of 2017 I was granted an elite athlete status from the Israeli Army, which was basically an exemption. In my last year of minor pro hockey after the season ended I had to go through training camp at the army for 6 weeks. In July 2017 I finished my duties in the army then came back to the U.S. Officially I was released from the army this past October(I had to go back in order to be officially released). At school I major in Finance with a minor in Data Analytics. Right now I have a 3.76 GPA and I will be graduating in December 2020. I hope to work somewhere from January to August then in August go back for my MBA in Real Estate.
Work experience:
SBG Management Real Estate - Administrative Intern (July 2017-September 2017)
• Coordinated with perspective tenants via telephone and email to schedule unit showings with property managers
• Distributed and edited companywide memos for employees and tenants, then properly record and file.
Allied Mortgage Group, Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania
Intern at the head quarters – Accounting team & Commercial Lending team June 2018 – August 2018
• Analyzed data, as well as documents such as excel, word and PDF
• Recording transactions (Accounts payable, sales and payroll)
• Distributed with cash flow statements
• Attended meetings with investors
• Distributed help to the marketing team
• Managed phone calls with companies human resources department
• Distributed and edited companywide memos for employees, then properly record and file

• Assistant to the Senior Project Manager
• Managing the subcontractors and laborers on and off site
• In charge of construction contracts throughout the project and the punch list for every unit on site
• Managing meetings, conference calls, inspections and deliveries
• Reviewing project budget
• Coordinating any questions, dates or problems with the management company
• In times where it’s needed, operating some of the construction machines on site
Corporate Intern - Financials (November 2019 - Current)
• Working directly with the CFO. In charge of operations & projects financials.
• Analyzing and editing financial statements, as well as accounting financials on the management software and accounting
software.
• Reviewing, analyzing and updating budgets and reports then drafting with the CFO before implementing into the software.
• In charge of financials and operations reports.
• Meetings and presentations to partners, potential venders and project managers.
• In charge of forming the construction contracts with the subcontractors for our general construction company.
• Working on our tax report with the accounting firm.
In process - my own company. In November 2019 I started my own real estate company.
Right now I am working on two projects.
Besides this all I can add is my athletics and honors I guess:
- Elite Athlete in the Israeli Defense Force
- Deans List at my college
- Playing for the Israeli Ice Hockey National Team
- Represented and still am in the world championship and pre olympics.
- Inducted to Sigma Beta Delta
Right now i'm studying for the GMAT while organizing everything I need in order to complete my applications.
My plan is to apply to:

Hi, and thanks for writing! Since you're graduating from college in 2020, I'd gain at least 3 years of full-time work experience before applying to bschool. The average number of years of work experience that full-time MBA students have is 4-6 years (not including internships). Over that time period, you'll want to show strong leadership and teamwork skills and good progression in your roles and skillset. I'd also take that time to reflect on your career goals so that you can explain them in your application (why real estate)? and talk about how your roles and experiences to date have influenced your decision to get an MBA.
