· Education (undergraduate institution, GPA, major - high school/entrance exams not needed): Engineering from state govt. college, 73.5% overall, Electrical Engineering l 10th- 85%, 12th - 75%
· Other coursework or post-undergraduate education:
· GMAT (include section breakdown): 690 (Q49, V34)
· Work experience (highlight amount of work experience, industries, roles, promotions, special accomplishments, international exposure): Total 7.5 yrs of exp. in Mid to Mid-senior management roles. Started with manufacturing industry- Ashok Leyland. Worked there for 3.5 yrs - manufacturing division for 1.5 yrs & for 2 yrs in Quality, TQM, Deming exam prep activities (led my business unit). Later 4 yrs in Amazon operations- got promoted.
Since last 4 days working in Rivigo as a Program Manager - managing different projects centrally across India.
· Extracurricular activities (highlight notable undergraduate and post-undergraduate ones): Undergrad- Technical Secretary of College ISTE Chapter (alone org. in college that manages all the technical events in the engineering college)
· Post-MBA goals: Consultancy, Program Manager roles.
· Target schools: IIMs (any other good college keeping in mind the fees etc. or the chances of sponsorship in any good college)
· Other information relevant to your profile:
· Any specific questions you would like answered by our team: I have the score (online GMAT) but not sure of the next steps that are to be taken to apply in colleges.
Also, pls kindly help with the below questions:
1. colleges where should I apply (where I stand comparatively stronger chance)
2. application process

Hi aggvipul, this is a tough one for us. We really don't focus too much on Indian programs, nor on the most economical programs for different circumstances. We mostly work with the top US/European business schools....That said, my suggestion is - look for info that IIM publishes on its profile of the incoming class...that's a quick way to see how you stack up. Usually, stats won't be the only factor, but they are a rough guide for what is MORE likely in terms of admissions.
For Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad's PGPX program, it looks like you are on target or close - 690 average, 8-9 years of work experience...seems like it is worth looking into.
I don't have a great sense of where you should apply, but you'll want to make a list of reach, target and safety for programs that look like they'll advance your career and are doable from a financing point of view... those situations are different for everyone. To identify these places, I'd use average GMATs and rankings and schools that seem to feed into your target employers. GOOD LUCK!
