Hi, and thanks for writing! I don't think the GMAT will "kill your chances" per se, but I do think a 1 in IR could be concerning. Since taking another test is not an option before Round 1, I'd address GMAT in the optional essay, and point to other indicators of your high reasoning ability (based on past academic and professional experiences) - additionally, indicate that you are planning to retake the test again when it becomes possible for you, and that you will update the admissions committees with your new score once it is available.
Since your list of schools is competitive and since it will be an especially competitive year, you might consider expanding your list of programs as well. A couple that come to mind that are good for PE applicants are NYU Stern and Darden.

GMAT : 710 (v36 q50) bad news here is a got a 1 in IR.... had a massive migraine, concerned about how this will impact my application
Undergraduate: Top state school in Texas, Econ/Finance major. GPA 3.2
Current: Experience: Currently working in financial services (think GS/JPM/MS) in their private equity arm. 6 years experience
Extra curricular - Leadership positions n Hispanic/Latino associations. Mentor to hispanic college kids and also collaborate with an on camps organization
Target Schools: HBS, Wharton, Haas, GSB, Booth
Biggest concern is the IR 1. I would take the gmat again but due to my personal situation taking going to a test center is complicated (already used the 1 online gmat). Will the IR 1 kill my chances?
