It's our pleasure, David. Thanks for the additional insights.

I am far from an expert on the GMAT, but it seems like if your quant fluctuates between practice exams, you are very susceptible to the variations in the batches of questions. Do you find that there are certain topics that you do better in than others? You can probably tell intuitively based on which types of questions cause you to use more brain power.

If so, try to shore up your weaknesses so the bottom does not fall out based on the randomness of the questions given on test day! You may want to take the diagnostic exams from some of the well-known prep classes. That might be really informative, particularly for someone who has tons of reps already under his belt.

Also, why rush to take it again next month? I would not want to be in a position to have to think about a fourth exam date. I know it must be frustrating to stretch this out but you have time to take it slowly. It might be easier for you to absorb the material. Of course you know you best, so do what makes sense for your patience, learning style, schedule, etc.
