Hey
ymk08,
To begin with, an undergraduate GPA of 3.66 showcases your academic prowess, and the brand of your undergraduate college - ranking 1st in the Middle East gives your profile a boost as schools tend to pick out applicants from the top schools of each country. However, while your grades and brands do play an important role while applying for a masters, you should highlight your extracurricular activities and other endeavors because AdComs are looking for applicants with holistically developed profiles.
As you have not mentioned your extracurricular activities - during or after your undergrad, I’d like to let you know that Extracurricular participation plays an important role in strengthening your application as B-schools are on the hunt for all-rounder profiles. Hence, it is essential to shed some light on the endeavors you took up in any clubs, associations, sports, fest, or events you managed or participated in during your undergrad. Thus, you should dig deeper into this aspect and bring out varied skills like leadership and team spirit in your profile, or seek to build the relevant proficiencies in this area to show that you are constantly on the path of upskilling yourself.
Moving on, your work experience is slightly on the lower end. You can compensate for the lack of practical experiences by explaining and highlighting the major projects of your work, the impacts created, and how these experiences helped you develop and further groom your skills and knowledge. Showcasing this in good light will overshadow the duration of your professional tenure. In order to further differentiate yourself from a pool of candidates with extensive work experience hailing from big brands, you can take up some courses or certifications in the field of management or business analytics, to portray a well-balanced approach towards growth as top schools are on the lookout for those who are constantly on the path of upskilling themselves.
Coming to your GMAT score, a 710+ is what you should be aiming for in order to target schools like HEC and LBS. Moving on to the schools that you are targeting,
LBS, LSE, and HEC fall under the dream category
While, ESSEC, Warwick, Imperial, Bocconi, EDHEC, and EMLyon come can be clubbed under the competitive category.
Looking at your profile you have a 50% chance of getting admitted to the schools in the dream category and a 70% chance of getting admitted to the schools in the competitive category.
On this note, while you have a competitive profile, to increase your chances of getting admitted to these schools you would need to ensure that you have a very strong application (consisting of - Essays, LORs, and Resume) that highlights your strengths and overshadows your weaknesses in order to differentiate your profile. You need to showcase your journey, what makes you different from your peers, and how you are a great value addition to the school.
Therefore, in lieu of that, I would recommend you to check out our flagship ALL-IN-ONE service, which has helped 3500+ applicants get into their dream schools.
