Hi bhaskar2297,

Thanks for sharing your profile. After examining your profile, we would like to highlight a few points. Your CGPA is quite impressive when compared to your academic performance. However, GMAT scores also play a significant role in an application. You can have a shot at Canadian schools and some EU schools like IE, ESADE etc.

On the work front, your work experience seems to fall short on it. I recommend gaining more work experience before applying to business school. Your contribution to improving the product architecture should also be highlighted. We would like to know your roles and responsibilities at Infosys in detail.
Extracurricular activities, involvement in social activities such as an NGO, and acceptance as a Kectil fellow will all help to strengthen your application. Furthermore, in your application to the desired schools, your post-MBA goals, both short and long term, must be clear and well highlighted. Overall your profile seems good. However, we would like to know more to gauge your profile better. If you'd like, we are happy to hop on a call with you sometime this week to discuss your profile in length and further help you with shortlisting MBA programs; feel free to book a free session with us at your convenience.

Let's prepare a 2-month action plan for Round 1

Cheers!

I am Bhaskar i have been working as a specialist programmer at infosys since november 2020. Recently i have been thinking of doing an MBA, but the issue i am facing is that would my profile is good for top bshools. I will shortly try to give you an overview of my profile. I got 96% in 10th and 81% in 12th and 8.34 cgpa in my degree. As extracurricular activities i have played cricket since my schools days and also throughout my college days. Then again i volunteered for many events and helped in managing events. Also i along some of my friends founded an non profit worked with it for few months and then was not able to proceed with it. Also i have been accepted as a kectil fellow which is an online program that helps people from developing countries to gain more knowledge on topics like leadership, entrepreneurship, etc. As in work i have worked on projects but didnt have a decision making position,i have worked on improving the product and architecture of the product but not directly on any bussiness qspect. So can you please tell me if my profile is good enough for top bschools. Should i try for a MBA or is it out of my scope. AND for gmat i think i can get a score around 700.
