Hey everyone,
I am currently pursuing my MiF at ESSEC in the 2 year program and would like to drop out at the end of the year to pursue my masters in finance at another school pref (US and UK).
Background and nationality: Born in India but naturalised german citizen
Undergrad: ESCP Business School (GPA 3.8/4)
GMAT: 670 current but expected 720+
Work ex: McKinsey Business Analyst Intern, Incoming PwC consulting intern, Axis Capital Equity research
Clubs: Finance society member and VP of Model UN
Post Masters goals: I would like to break into PE and Asset Management
Bonus: Speak 6 languages (English, French, German, Spanish, Hindi, Gujarati)
Current aimed at programs:
LBS MFA
LSE MiF
HEC MiF
INSEAD MiM
MIT MiF

The fact that you are enrolled in ESSEC's MiF program is both good and bad. One the good side, it shows validation that you're at a strong program. The bad news is that you are going to have to justify why you want to switch programs. Is it just a geographical move or is there something else driving this decision?
Also, bumping up that GMAT score (as you indicated) will help a lot. A 670 might be fine for ESSEC but you will definitely need at least a 700 to be considered for these better ranked programs. I'm glad to see you are retaking it.
I am also curious about your post-MiF goal. It's difficult (though not impossible) to move into PE directly out of a masters program and especially with some experience. It would be helpful to see some narrative around this trajectory.
Other than that, I wouldn't change too much about your profile.
