I would really appreciate it if you could evaluate my profile and give me suggestions on my story and prospective colleges:
Profile Summary:
Academics:
Graduate in B.Tech Civil Engineering (2012-2016), CGPA of 8.46/10, Top 15% in the Civil Engineering batch.
Work Experience:
7 Years of Work experience.
Profile 1 (1 year): Worked as a structural designer right out of college. Designed varied structures and structural elements such as flat slabs, spiral staircases, long span steel structures etc and 10+ residential, commercial and temple structures.
Profile 2 (3 years): After gaining a comprehensive technical understanding of RCC structures, I decided to join my familys real estate business as a construction project manager. Managed 8 projects led teams of upto 25 people. Developed KPI's and quality control protocols. Role involved alot of planning, scheduling, budget management and vendor negotiations.
Profile 3 (3 years): Was promoted as the Chief Operations Officer at the same company. More strategic role that gave me freedom to set up systems and processes and define mission and vision. Implemented cloud-based documentation and BIM for streamlined operational workflows. Leveraged Revit to create 3D models for improved stakeholder communication, quantity take-offs, and conflict prevention. Devised strategic rebranding initiatives, incorporating innovative façade materials and integrating green spaces within buildings and set the wheels in motion to transition the real estate company into an aesthetics led bespoke design company.
I have some expirience as a copywriter as well, having written blogs for a financial consultant and creative writing for a food brand. Also took on freelance structural design work. Seeing how much I enjoyed creative writing, took a few classes and co wrote a short comic called Apocalypse Cow. Its been my dream to make cartoons and music and I have tried to venture out into that domain as much as I could.
Extra Curriculars:
Self taught guitar player and vocalist. I enjoy expressing myself through a creative medium and so took up songwriting. Composed rhythm, lead and bass guitar parts, wrote lyrics and sang for an original composition titled sleeping in an armour thats about personal struggles with health. Composed many more songs and put them out on soundcloud. Learnt sound production techniques as well on this journey.
Conducted various music therapy sessions for special education classes of a special ed school “Puzzles” in Goa.
Had a brief stint as a cofounder of a construction project mgmt software. Developed the UI and product features but unfortunately had to discontinue.
GMAT: 700 (Q48, V37)
I am 28, and my plan is to find a creative niche in the business world such as Brand Management and work for sports or luxury brands while at the same time continue my creative side projects. Ultimately, want to come back to the family business and develop the brand.
I know I am a bit late in the application process and so I am choosing my colleges realistically.
My targeted colleges are:
IE, HEC, SDA Boconi, ESMT Berlin, Essec, WHU
I am looking for more of a culture fit college than a big brand. Something collaborative and not cut throat and competitive. Also somewhere I could find creative people to work on projects with.
I am looking for significant scholarships but havnt a clue where I could land these scholarships. So could you suggest some colleges? Should I also consider 2 year MBA? I am more inclined towards one year MBAs.

One-year MBA is unlikely unless you go for a program that is only one year (i.e. Judge). You don't really meet the standard for what the one-year MBA program is targeting.
The list you have put together is actually quite appropriate. HEC Paris is probably more of a reach, but that's fine to include.
Scholarship chances are very hard to predict. That said, you might want to consider retaking the GMAT. A 700 for someone coming from your competitive demographic is going to make it hard. The only alternative is to dip down to lower-ranked schools, but that might be less appealing to you.
Are you applying R1 of next year? Do you want to chat with us? Cultural fit is nearly impossible to determine over a posting. We need to get to know your personality!
