Thank you for the responses. I'm now leaning towards retaking the GMAT, and I would love to get any and all advice on how long to give myself to study. Also, I'm nervous that if I don't do well, I could be hurting myself instead of helping.

If I do worse, will that affect how AdComs see my application? Also, since this is my third time taking the exam and I hear that schools only like to see it taken 3 times, do I only have one more shot at improving my score?

Finally, what can I do outside of retaking the gmat to improve my chances? Where would you say I stand right now in regards to a school like Darden, Ross, or Fuqua?

Thanks!

If your score lower than 710 in your second attempt or take the GMAT a third/fourth time, its not going to be viewed negatively by the admissions teams. They will simply take your highest single test scores.
However, if you are unable to surge past the ~710 figure in your mocks, then it is a matter of judgment for you, whether you want to take the GMAT or improve other aspects of your profile instead.
I don't know much about your profile to make suggestions about improvements, but I can list down the stuff that matters in the MBA application:

1. academics (undergrad, masters, GPA, certifications like CFA)
2. Work experience- career progression, achievements and impact on organization.
3. All round development- extra curricular activities, volunteering experience, hobbies that you are passionate about.
