Hi there,
I would appreciate it if you could let me know if you think my profile is competitive for Wharton, Columbia, Haas or Anderson.
Age: 28
Gender: Female
Nationality: Dual Canadian and U.S. citizen
Race: Mixed, not URM
GMAT: 720 (Q43, V46, IR8, AWA6)
Work Experience: 6 years at matriculation at one of the top commercial real estate firms in Canada with promotions, including a high profile role on corporate strategy team. Based in Toronto.
Undergrad: BCom in finance and real estate at one of the top Canadian business schools (think Ivey/Rotman/Sauder). Cumulative GPA equivalent to 3.5/4.0; 3.6/4.0 during last two years.
Other designations: CFA charterholder; passed all three exams on first attempt
Extracurricular activities: case competition coach at alma mater, mentor at local YWCA
Short-term goal: relocate to US and work in real estate portfolio management
Long-term goal: executive / leader at a large commercial real estate management firm

Hi there,
I think you should apply to the schools mentioned; they are all competitive schools, acceptance rates in similar ranges, Wharton being the highest ranked, likely highest average GMAT and 'though of' as the toughest on your list.... of course those schools turn away qualified applicants every season so there are no guarantees, and I don't know the 'deeper' level of your resume and accomplishments and leadership examples etc that could make a difference... but overall I would be hopeful that you'd be competitive if you are able to showcase those and describe your career plan in a compelling way etc in the apps and essays. Congrats on the CFA as well. Not sure if you are still doing any activities outside of work but that could be a plus if feasible or existing. Keep us posted on how we can help and good luck!
