Hi,
Thank you for your advice here. Here are my details:
GMAT – 730 Indian, Male, 33 Years
Education
Undergraduate – Comp Science Engineering – New Delhi, India – Non – IIT – 2007
Graduate – Master of Financial Engineering – Univ of California, Berkeley – Haas School of Business – 2013
Work Ex:
Total about 8.5 years for now. Pre Masters was as a trader in multiple banks in India – 4 years. Post Masters – 4.5 - Risk Management – including consulting.
Current Role: Major bank in NY – Risk management role
Steady career progression in terms of designations and titles.
Extra Curriculars –
- Dance – Performances and Shows
- Business(in NY) – Been associated with businesses that ran for a while- some profitably, some not so much.

Q1. I am pretty high on work experience when compared to average. What are the biggest challenges for applying with high work ex?
Q2. Only looking for 1 year or about same duration programs. Are the target schools feasible?
Q3. Is it worth trying for R3/R4 for 2018 session?
