Hi sacgoyel,
You ask a rather broad question, so it's important to define some of the specifics in YOUR situation.
Have you done any research yet into specific MBA programs? Once you define what YOU want out of an MBA, you can then find the Schools/Programs that match THAT goal. With a bit more research, you can then compare what your application would likely be to that of a typical incoming class at those Schools.
I'm not clear on what you mean when you say that you are in a "difficult" situation. If you don't appear qualified to apply to Business School right now, then you just have to put in the necessary work to become qualified....and then you can apply later. In that same way, you can take care of the GMAT now (since the score is good for 5 years), then keep working and apply sometime in the future.
If you have specific questions about your profile or about how best to apply to specific Schools, then you might consider posting in the Admissions Forums (on this site) - there are plenty of Experts there who can offer you advice. They probably won't be able to tell you too much until you have an Official GMAT Score though.
GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
