Hi everyone,

I'm a 24-year-old female who graduated from VIT in 2023 in Bioengineering. I'm interested in applying for the Early Entry Option (EEO) program at ISB this year and would appreciate some feedback on my profile.

Academics and Test Scores:
  • VIT graduate (2023)
  • GMAT score: 720
  • 10th Score- 10 CGPA
  • 12th score- 81%
  • Grad CGPA- 8.7
Work Experience:


  • Total experience: 9 months
  • Full-time work experience: 4 months (current role in EdTech sales)
Extracurricular Activities:


  • Student coordinator for a major symposium at VIT
  • Research paper presentation
  • Volunteer work with a non-profit consulting organization, focusing on digital media expansion and volunteer recruitment for an NGO
Additional Skills and Interests:


  • B1 level proficiency in German
  • Diploma in Hindustani Classical music
  • Diploma in Painting
Post-MBA Goals:

I plan to give my CFA level1 this year and transition into the finance sector after my MBA.

Question:

Given my profile, is it advisable to apply for the ISB EEO program this year, or would gaining more experience be beneficial?

@realrr, ­wait for a very big announcement from ISB, vis-a-vis applicants with less or zero experience.

The announcement has the potential to do a significant shake-up in the b-school landscape in India, for applicants with less or zero experience.

However, since ISB is still working out the finer details for this, it will not be appropriate for me to spill the beans.

By when can we expect them to roll out the alternative option ? We were told to wait until 12th August 2024 and September has already started. Any possible expected time line for the same please?
