Thank you for sharing your profile. Your profile looks good on the surface. Starting with your work experience, I can see several positive elements that will assist you in writing impactful essays. Your first startup was in 18, and now you run a marketing firm. This is amazing. I'd like to learn more about your journey since I believe your work experience is far broader and more important than you've described here. In terms of your post-MBA goals, becoming a Social Entrepreneur involves more than merely wanting to do good. It requires the functional skills and business acumen to understand the circumstances in which these problems arise. As a result, you'll need to tailor your stories to the school's values and your post-MBA goals. Judge and Oxford are good picks for your post-MBA goals. Now talking about your GMAT, yes, you will need to retake your GMAT to maximize your chances and improve your candidacy (700-710 will be enough). If you’d like, we are happy to hop on a call with you sometime this week to discuss your profile in length and further chances to the b-schools. Feel free to
as per your convenience.
Hi
I am looking to apply for the 2022 or 2023 intake.
Please find below pointers on my profile :
1. Bachelor in Industrial Engineer - GPA: 8 out of 10
2. GMAT - 670 (Quants 48, Verbal 34, IR 4, AWA 4)
3. I created my first startup when I was 18. It was a carpooling app. I got support from the local government.
4. I was an exchange student in Germany for one year and a half.
5. I came back to Brazil and built a software house. When I was 24, the company has 80 employees and I sold my equity.
6. I worked as a product manager for a fintech in São Paulo for one year and I decided to go back to entrepreneurship.
7. Now I have a marketing company, I am selling it next year. Even though is a smaller company, I have the same revenue as my prior company. I could say it is a successful business as well.
I would like to apply to European universities. And I plan to work as a social entrepreneur after the MBA.
I am not sure if I should retake the GMAT. I know that I can do better, but I am super tired.
I would love some insights into my profile.
Thank you in advance.
