Hi all,
I am trying to determine if I should retake the GMAT. Let me know your thoughts.
1) Basic demographic info: age, gender, nationality
Age: 28
Gender: M
Nationality : American, white
2) Educational Background: undergrad major, GPA, GMAT score, any grad work you've done
Undergrad Major : Civil Engineer
GMAT SCORE : 720 (Q48 V 41)
Grad School : California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo
GPA : 2.8
3) Work experience: what is your current role? Have you had any promotions? What industry do you work in? For how long have you worked?
Current Role - Project Engineer
Promotion - 3
Industry - Civil Engineer, Licensed (4 Years)
Past Job - Field Engineer for Heavy Civil Constuction Firm (1.5 Years)
Total Experience - 5.5 years
4) Extracurriculars: do you participate in any extra-curricular activities? What is your role there? For how long have you been involved?
Strong - Involved for the last 6 years in a local charity organization, last two years I have been an active board member (many hours of service every year)
On school Triathlon Club Board in Undergrad
Hobbies - Waterman, surfing, paddling, swimming, etc
5) Short/Long term goals: what do you want to do after your MBA? Any geographic preferences?
Short Term - Real Estate Development
5 years after MBA - Work for a large real estate development firm
7 years after MBA - Build my own real estate development firm
6) Schools: Which schools have you considered already? Any on your initial short list?
Three schools under consideration
1.Wharton
2.Columbia
3.Haas
