Hi there,
Thanks for posting. Just to clarify further, what is your current role exactly? What sort of responsibilities do you have and accomplishments have you made? Do you have some leadership experience or management exposure?
Your international experience is impressive and a plus for sure, and there are fewer applicants from New Zealand at US schools for sure and potentially European schools, plus schools are looking for qualified female applicants. But you'd still need to really demonstrate that you'll have something to contribute to the school/class, and that you know WHY you want this MBA and have a plan for what you'll do with it. And of course you'll need a strong GMAT to support your application.
Wondering why you've chosen the schools you listed, as it is a bit of a mixed list... also I don't know of a one-year program at Wharton? Perhaps in the US you may want to look at Goizeuta or Mendoza? There are more one-year programs in Europe, and the average age tends to be a bit higher too so not a bad option. You may want to investigate IE, Judge (Cambridge), Said (Oxford), HEC, among others? In terms of when to apply, generally the earlier rounds are preferred as long as you can put together a strong application, as there are more places available. Round 1 is often in October/Nov or occasionally sooner. You'd need to take your GMAT prior to the deadline, but the sooner the better so you can focus on those application essays.
Hope that helps! Wishing you the best.
