Hi all ,
I am a newbie to GMAT club and need some informations .
I am going to appear GMAT on July'14 . So after several research I have made a list of universities for which I will apply. The universities are :
Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad
Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore
Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI)
Institute of Management Technology - IMT
Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi)
Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneswar
Rajiv Gandhi Indian Institute of Management (IIM)
T. A. Pai Management Institute, Manipal (TAPMI)
Great Lakes Institute of Management
Indian Institute of Science (IISc) - Bangalore
Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kashipur
Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petrolium Management
Below are my profile details :
10 th class: 83%
12 th class : 83%
GPA : 8.3/10
Work experience : 4.3 years in TCS with a delivery manager role .
Award: 1 time star of the month , 5 times on the spot award for contribution in project .
Extra curricular activities :
Volunteered in college fests . Active member in different office functions . Recently joined a NGO .
Now my question is how much score do I want in GMAT with respect to my profile to get admitted in these B schools ?
Will 2.5 month preparation will siffice for GMAT ? Which are the best resources to take preparation for GMAT ?

Hi,
It depends which MBA you are looking for regular or executive.
Furthermore, the GMAT score for top institutes such as IIM's,SP Jain, and XLRI should be minimum of 700.
Also, you should be clear why you want an MBA being from a prosperous industry I.T.

Thanks TGC for the reply . Can you kindly tell me which type of MBA is suitable for me : executive or regular ? My aim is to do MBA on GM , Opearations or Infrastructure .
