Hi,
I am working with a Fortune 500 company for the last 3.5 years as a software developer in Insurance domain.
My work here has been highly appreciated and my Senior Manager has agreed to do my recommendation. My work involves developing an
Insurance application for a US client and interacting with client on a daily basis. I assist the Business analyst on the team as well (but not officially).
I also head a "Communication workshop" conducted with the floor to help team mates improve their spoken English skills.
Work ex: 3.5 yrs
Gmat: 620
Undergrad- BE: 68% (First class with Distinction on my degree certificate)
Volunteer work : I teach English at Parikrama Foundation, a school for underprivileged kids, for classes 9 and 10. I also help students of lower classes
if they are not able to cope with lessons in class. I do this in the mornings and work from afternoon.
Certification: Certified in A1 level Spanish.
Certified with certain Insurance exams from work.
Career goals:
Long term: Start an NGO based on education like the one I currently work with. The MBA will give me the ability to develop entrepreneur skills, management skills and decision making ability which will be needed right from planning, fund raising and operating a school.
A good university will help me network with alumni and batch mates from the MBA programs with similar goals in education with the international community deprived of this opportunity. It will also provide me the credibility to find support from interested people.
Kindly, let me know what are my chances to get into a good 1 year MBA program.
I am looking to apply to NUS and NTU Singapore. MIM or MBA program of HEC Paris.
Will I lose opportunities with a GMAt score of 620?
Any help will be very useful.
Thank you.
