Hey dude!
Overall good to hear from you!
So you have some good and very solid stuff. Your GMAT, your undergrad college, your MPHil. All very good stuff.
As you pointed out, your average grades and "mid-tier" firm might weaken your profile somewhat, but okay...
I think that the real question I have when reading this is: who are you? what do you want? What do you see in your future? how have you performed thus far? what is your leadership VISION?
The profile you have written here just feels a bit standard to me. I'm sure you have more info there, but dig into it. Find out WHY you are really applying to B-school, what you really want to do. Tap in to the unique aspects of your background...
That's where you need to work?
Good enough for HBS? Hard to say. I mean make an amazing story, and give it your best shot. You have the school and the numbers and are in (one of) the right industry.
But don't focus ONLY on HBS. Apply to as many Top 10 schools as you see you might fit in.
I hope this helps,
Best,
Jon Frank
