Kindly guide me on my case I am planning for the MBA/Ms Eng. Management program US Universities. Preparing for GMAT , cleared Ielts score 7. I hold Bachelor
and Master in computer application from India IGNOU university with 60% marks, As my education has been part time after completing a 1 yr Advanced diploma in
computer H/w & Networking after 12th standard. I have worked since then to come up with financial expenses as was financially week from family. Today I have
hold a work experience of 10.8 yrs in IT field(which includes 4.8 yrs full time and remaining part time, I am working with an IT giant company). I have all
to bear the expenses for a US master from my savings & Investments. I am married too but my spouse is self depend working fine in her carrier. please advice
me know my eligibility to apply for MBA/Ms Eng. Management at US University.
> If what should I do to go ahead with, I want to get im management position which need a strong education for me.
> If I apply will the VO offer me a visa seeing my work exp.
My Education details are as below:
1) Master of Computer Applications - (Jun 2008): Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi.
Major: Computer Science
2) Bachelor of Computer Applications-(Dec 2004): Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi.
Major: Computer Science
4) Diploma - (Nov 2001): Advanced Diploma in Computer Hardware & Networking from Jetking Info train.
5) Intermediate (Mar 2000): CBSE Board.
6) High school (Mar 1998): ICSE Board.

Hi there,
Well you'd first want to see how you do on the GMAT, since that would give you an approx idea of the tier of MBA programs in your reach. And you'll want to be sure you know what your post-MBA/degree plans are... short and long-term career goals, and how the MBA will get you there. There are a lot of Indian engineer applicants so you'd need to aim to stand out from the crowd and highlight any leadership, teamwork, and communication skills that you can. Keep doing some research on the types of programs you are interested in, typical career paths, and admissions at those schools. Good luck to you!
