Hey first of all I like your profile! Your GMAT is awesome, your work experience is strong and diverse, and your grades are good (but from what school?)
As an active member of the LGBT movement in a country where its outlawed, you should for SURE use the story... not only will it make your application very memorable, Im sure it has given you a unique perspective, and could make a great story.
