Hey Guys,

I gave the GMAT on the 1st of February 2015 and got a score of 710 (Q-49/V-35) with 6.0 in AWA and 3 in IR

My academics are as follows:
1. 10th Std-88.30%
2. 12th Std-85.17%
3. Engineering (Information Technology) CGPA-3.4

I was a part of a number of committees in college and have worked in a number of co-curricular events (Both Intra and Inter College)

I have been working in a MNC for the past 2 years in the domain of Testing and I am a co-lead in my project.

Please suggest as to how I can improve my profile for ISB. I plan to apply in September 2015.

Hi Pritesh,

We have answered your query somewhere else as well.


We would recommend that you apply in 2016 for session starting in 2017. If you apply for class entering in 2016, you will have less than 3 years of experience which will make it challenging.

Also, you will have to work hard on your profile. QA experience in tech companies will put you on back foot. So, try to move to more of team lead role where you can highlight your team management, project tracking kind of skills.

Also, if possible retake GMAT and improve your score as otherwise you will fall average on most fronts.
