Hello All,
I would really appreciate if somebody could evaluate my profile:
GMAT : 700
Work Experience: 3 years at the time of application as a Design Engineer in USA
Education: MS Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State and BE Mechanical from Manipal Institute of Technology
GPA: 3.8/4 in MS and 7.5/10 in BE
To summarize my current role, I work in an Architectural Engineering firm as a part of a team which comes up with design solutions for clients. Our clients include Ford, GM, Fiat Chyrsler and many more automative companies and hospitals. It involves a lot of inter-disciplinary coordination and client interaction on a daily basis. I worked on a similar role for 2 years in my previous company which was a Fortune 500 firm with close to 100,000 employees. My current firm has around 1000 employees.
My career goal after graduation is to transition into Consulting role for a Technology, Engineering or Infrastructure company.
I am also involved in volunteering hours for my local community.

Hi ABhishek,
Things are looking good for you. I'd recommend a GMAT retake. I believe even a 20 point increase would help your chances. REgarding your work experience, are you also interacting constantly with clients? I'd like to understand a little more about what exactly you do and what your past achievements have been.
IMO, during the application, it would be good to talk about why you wish to come back to India (from a goals perspective). Another thing- ISB's been asking an essay on what's unique about you, actually, they have asked this question in some form or the other since the time I can remember. It would be nice to talk about your US experience here, about what you learned from it, and how that will enable you to contribute at ISB (not in a cheesy way though).
Your goals need further work. You will need to be specific about what exactly you'll do after MBA, and obviously how you came to those career goals. In other words, you will have to connect the dots between what you have done until now and what you wish to do in the future. I don't see much of a link from the description above.
