Hey Tanmay!
Below you can find a detailed analysis done by our team, but specifically for your case, I have a comment:
I think the GMAT Score puts you in a competitive zone but with such a strong profile, I am very sure it will not be a reason of rejection/shortlist. If you've time, go for a retake, there is nothing much to lose. However, if things go south, I have a strong hunch you can get selected provided you have a strong reasoning for Masters + impressive essays. Keep that in mind
Detailed Analysis
GMAT:
A 645 on the GMAT Focus is within range for SPJIMR and slightly below the median for ISB and NUS, but by no means a dealbreaker. With your strong academics, consulting brand, and leadership exposure, you can absolutely make a competitive case if your application essays are impactful and narrative-driven. Focus on articulating your “why MBA” and “why now” convincingly — that can easily offset a marginally lower score.
Work Experience:
Your ZS Associates experience (strategy, analytics, client delivery) positions you well for all three schools. ISB and NUS value applicants from consulting backgrounds who can demonstrate measurable client impact, initiative, and leadership.
Emphasize moments when you influenced senior stakeholders or drove business outcomes.
Mention any cross-regional exposure (NAM/EU/APAC) or high-visibility projects.
The PPO and “Excellent Learner Award” signal performance consistency — highlight these proudly.
Education:
Strong academic foundation — DTU with an 8.74 CGPA is well regarded, especially combined with your internships at PwC, EY, and FrontRow. Shows analytical capability and curiosity across domains.
Leadership & Extracurriculars:
This is where you shine. As President of Yuvaan Festival, managing 100+ members and partnerships adds a strong leadership dimension. Your involvement with Teach for India, UNV India, and Hamari Pehchaan showcases social awareness — something ISB values highly. These experiences can meaningfully strengthen your application narrative around leadership with empathy and purpose.
Overall Assessment:
A well-balanced and high-potential profile with strong leadership, academics, and consulting exposure. You’re well-placed for SPJIMR. For ISB, you’ll be a competitive applicant if your essays convey strong impact, maturity, and self-awareness. NUS remains realistic, especially if you highlight global collaboration and adaptability in your experience.
