Hi ryo1999,

To start, you did get accepted to 2 of the 5 Schools that you applied to, which means that you're a reasonably solid Applicant right now. If you're ultimately not interested in either of those Schools, then that's fine - but you might want to consider why you applied to them in the first place (as that required a certain amount of time, money and effort on your part - and that experience might help you to better plan out the next set of Applications that you send out).

You're ultimately asking Admissions questions, so you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile. Those Experts should be able to answer your Admissions questions and help define the specific areas of your profile that could use some improvement.

There's a Forum full of those Experts here:

https://gmatclub.com/forum/ask-admissio ... tants-124/

In addition, the process of applying to (and ultimately attending) Business School will require a big investment of time, money and energy on your part, so you really should make sure that the Programs that you apply to match your career goals/needs. There are a variety of factors that go into selecting the Schools that you'll apply to. Instead of just applying to Programs in which you might have a good chance to 'get in', here are some other things to think about:

1) Is there a particular company that you want to work for or industry that you want to work in? Certain degrees are more appropriate than others if you have a specific career goal.
2) What do you want your MBA to do for you?
3) Do you want to go to School full-time or part-time?
4) Are you willing to relocate? Are you comfortable with working through a program that is primarily online?
5) Are you going to be applying for scholarships?
Etc.

It's okay if you don't have answers to any of these questions just yet, but you really should try to define all of the important variables in terms of your goals, so that you can tailor your entire approach to getting into the best School that matches what you're looking for.

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich

I admitted with mim at Edinburgh and Warwick but rejected to HEC, Imperial college London and UCL at the phase of an interview, screening and screening, respectively.
I want to aim higher school so what should I do for now? I plan to reapply to school for next year admission. Also, what other schools can I target with my profile?
My profile is as follows:

Kyoto University (civil Engineering) GPA 3.24/4
GRE - 321 (v 151, q 170)(GMAT 690)

2 Internships - 1 at BCG , 1 at Data 4c's but both are just 1 day
part-time job 3 and half years at Macdonalds

Extra-curricular activities
- Kyoto University Entrepreneurship program - take part in to know how to run a venture company (2 month)
- Ogurahyakuninnishuunokai - volunteer at cleaning up mountains (3 month)
- SJC program - taking lectures with Stanford student as a representative of Kyoto University (3 month)
- studying at Oxford University for a month as a program conducted by Kyoto University (1 month)
- Kyoto summer program - assistant for foreign students coming to Japan (2 weeks)
- ICOM Kyoto Committee - volunteer work (1 week)
- coauthor of academic paper of a phd student

Hi,

Your profile is quite strong. I believe that, with proper emphasis on your application, you can demonstrate differentiation in your profile.

Your GMAT scores are good and you have obtained decent experience.

Our suggestions are:
Link what you have learnt in your experience to your post degree desired experience - entrepreneurship, BCG, university
Highlight the “so what” leadership aspects in your activities rather than the “what” - what have you learnt and how can that develop to a successful professional career
Lean on your personal background - under represented background
How can you link/connect all your educational background

Let me know if you would like a call to discuss how to do these better.
