Please evaluate my profile for 2020 applications to MIT/LSE.
Nationality: Indian
College: IIT Bombay
Undergraduate GPA: 3.26 / 4 (8.17/10) (10 and 9 grades in all quant courses)
GMAT: 760
CFA Level 1
Work Experience:
- 18 months in consulting (by the time of application)
- Demand Planning internship in UK with top FMCG company
- Machine Learning based intern in US School (Top 50)

GMAT is great and the IIT schools are well respected. I know UK programs focus on class rank which might be a slight negative for your profile. The GPA you in what I am assuming was a quant type major, coupled with the IITs reputation of being hard, should help you out. Work experience is just icing on top.
IMO, you’ll get into LSE (probabilities will range depending on which of the number of MSc programs you apply to). MIT and LBS will be a toss up. All depoends on the strength of the applicant pool. MIT has a longer program that is ideally suited for international students. Might want to target that one.

Hey there,
You seem to have a pretty good profile, here are some things that work out for you:
Academics ,UG rank and GMAT look great. .CFA works as a good differentiator.
Work experience is pretty interesting as well. Having an international exposure and an analytical background will definitely add value to your profile, if you are showcase these experiences properly through your application.
Having said that, most of the applicants who apply to schools like LSE and MIT do have a stellar profile, so in a lot of ways, even with a good profile you may be starting at level ground.
Your essays will play a key role in differentiating you from the rest of the applicants, so make sure that you are spending enough time on them ( Usually 12-15 days).
With a strong application, I would say that LSE is possible. Secondly, you have mentioned just LSE and MIT as your target schools. It is always a better strategy target at least 4-6 schools categorized into dream, competitive and safe as per your profile.
