Hi Njood,
Thanks for reaching out! Your undergraduate credentials are impressive! And I must say that the fact that you're a young woman interested in pursuing finance does boost your competitiveness as well, as the field is still male-heavy, and MIT (like all institutions) wants to diversity their student body. While work experience is less critical for a master of finance program than for an MBA, your professional experience so far also sounds quite impressive.
The main concern here is your GRE scores. Both your quant and verbal scores are one or more standard deviations below the middle 80% range for MIT's M Fin current class profile, which is worrisome -- ideally you want to be hitting at least the middle of that range. Have you taken it more than once already? Is there anything you could do differently with your test prep (i.e. getting a tutor or taking a GRE prep class, if you haven't already done so)? It will be an uphill battle to convince the AdCom of your fit for the program if you can't raise both your verbal and quant scores, so that would be my recommendation for you to focus on!
Best,
Doris
