I am an undergraduate Computer Science Engineering major with one year experience as of now in IT.
Work exp:1 yr as Software Engineer in an IT firm that mostly deals with international clients.Have had exposure to interaction with clients from other countries.
A university rank holder and have been part of several co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
Looking for Fall 2019 intake in Canadian and US business schools.
The universities that i have shortlisted are
1.HEC Montreal(Canada)
2.Ryerson University(Canada)
3.Texas A & M(US)
4.University of South Carolina(US)
I feel that my undergrate engineering degree and low GRE score will prove to be challenges in the admission process.HEC Montreal is my target school.
I am not interested in retaking GRE again.
Kindly evaluate my profile and give me some insights on how to secure admission for the same.

It's a bit hard to say without more information about you - a lot will depend on whether you're able to speak to any accomplishments at work & it will also depend on your post-MBA goals sine your "why MBA/why our school" argument hinges on those. In general you want to hit a school's averages when it comes to GRE, undergrad GPA as well as years of work experience. Your GPA & GRE are on the low end as you pointed out & your work experience actually is too. Many schools like to see at least 3 years of experience so that you have more to contribute to class discussions. It will also depend on your demographics & whether you have any US experience. In terms of b-school apps, the very toughest demographic to be from is Indian male engineer.

All that said, I think it's worth giving it a shot this year & if you don't get in I'd definitely consider getting another year or two of work experience under your belt (and trying to get that GRE score up) & then reapplying.
