Profile Evaluation: GMAT -730

Question

Hi,

I scored 730 in GMAT(Q50,V39),AWA-5,IR -7.

Work Experience:4.2 Years(India)
-3.5 Years as Business Analyst(Requirement Gathering,Gap Analysis,Pre-sales support)
-0.7 Year-Supply Chain Consultant in one of the Fortune 5 companies.

3.2 GPA from a decent engineering college.

Co-curricular: Decent-mostly sports- Division A player of Cricket(Division A is a level below First Class Cricket).Captain of College team where won many inter college tournaments.Event coordinator during college.Professionally won one award for best performance which is rolled out annually and given to only 5%(but its a team award).

How realistic is my target of Darden,Michigan(Ross),Kelley,UCLA Anderson,Cornell.

What other colleges can I target?

what will it take to crack-Tuck,NYU Stern,??

hello there good sir,
And thanks for writing. Now to give you a REAL evaluation I am gonna need a LOT more info in excruciating detail about you and what you have done - in your work place, in school, extra curriculars, and as a volunteer. So feel free to post more.

What I can see very very roughly is that right now you have schools in Top 15-20 on your list. And my suggestion would be to open up your list to Top 30, 35 schools, given the huge tough applicant pool of Indian/Male/Tech candidates and the fact that you don't come from one of the premiere institutes in India.

Details:
Work:I worked for 3.5 years for IBM as a Senior Business Analyst where my role was requirement gathering and pre sales support in Freight and Logistics domain.My work involved understanding clients(major ocean carriers in my case) pain areas and their current as -is process.Then devising a to-be process to mitigate those pain areas through the more advanced and superior product from our portfolio.It also required bits and pieces of change management during the transition from old legacy system to neo-age advanced system.
0.7 years as Supply Chain Planner(analyst) for Shell -I work on planning of Inventories,Demand Forecast,Cost to Supply ,Supply Demand Balances for different plants across the globe.

EC:Work:Played Cricket for Division A League ( which is a level below First Class Cricket i.e the County's or Domestic Leagues and two level below the international).
Got recognition for best product team.
Lots of cultural/sports/tech awards in the graduation school.
Organised a state level cricket tournament (one of its kind-different concept) in my final year of graduation and won it as captain.
Involved in CSR at my office but no certificate for that.

Now,please let me know the colleges I should target -If you culd be more specific with the names it will be really helpful.

Thanks for the response, dude,
So with your work experience and profile the danger is that the schools will perceive you as "yet another Indian tech guy" and of course your primary job is NOT to let that happen! (By writing the most original and interesting application you can think of!)

I think you can apply to schools like Kelly, Anderson, NYU. They are a bit of stretches though and like I wrote above you can balance this out with applications to schools ranked a bit lower. If you want some examples of good schools for you: McCombs, Foster, Marshall, Tepper. the list is not exhaustive, but I hope it will give you an idea,
