Hi VinayMG256,
Thanks for posting your profile. I think you have a lot of strengths in your profile - excellent GMAT, solid academic track record, outstanding work performance (promotion during COVID, leading teams, commendation), and extra-curriculars.
To answer your questions -
1. Given your profile, I think your target schools of Booth, Sloan, LBS and Haas are realistic. However, these are also highly selective schools. I'd like to encourage you to add 2-3 more schools to the list. It's not unusual for candidates to apply to 5-6 schools in R1, and depending on the results, another couple more schools in R2. Perhaps also consider schools like INSEAD, Duke, McCombs, Darden?
2. To fill the gaps in your profile like Extra-curriculars, there's still time for you to contribute to a community organization that you're interested in. For example, are there any LGBT organizations you can participate in? Or do you have any interest in causes like animal welfare, food security, etc.? Even if you only volunteer for a few months until the R1 deadlines, it still shows your engagement with the community, demonstrated leadership experiences, and a personal side of you.
3. There is little incremental benefit between 750 and 760 - you've shown that you are more than capable to handle the academic workload at b-schools. That said, if you think you can improve the score, there's no harm retaking the GMAT, given that you have time until the R1 deadlines. And the schools will only consider your highest score.
I hope this addresses your questions. If you'd like to discuss your profile in more detail, please feel free to schedule a free 30-min consultation with us. Wishing you the best in your MBA journey!
Sincerely,
Debbie
