Hello again! Yes, I think if you could manage to get a GMAT in the mid 600s, that would definitely improve your admissions chances. It really can't hurt to try the GMAT again so I think it's worth another shot to see if you can reach your target score. Good idea to focus on the TOEFL first since that will be a requirement.

As for the MBA vs. MIS....I'm not really an expert on MIS programs but I'd say it depends on what you want to do...the MBA degree will likely give you the most options but if you're leaning towards a more technical career path anyway, then the MIS might be a good option. Perhaps check the employment stats for a few MIS programs to compare what your options and chances are.
